Lake Bacalar

Lake Bacalar is only a three minute walk from the cottage. It is known as the 'lake of seven colors' and the water is refreshing, pure and extremely pleasurable to swim in, perhaps even therapeutic. It flows 45 miles northward alongside noble mangroves, and nearby is a boating facility where you can rent all kinds of embarkations (sea-doos, kayaks, hobie cats, canoes, pontoons, etc.).
